Always increasing in membership numbers, covering more and more areas and ever striving for excellence and fun, Vatsim's Africa and the Middle East region is covering a huge fascinating part of the globe: from the wild savannas of Africa to the deserts of Arabia; from desolated territories to modern cities like Johannesburg, Tel-Aviv, Dubai or Cape town; from rural uncontrolled airstrips to huge modern airports - we have it all!

Hello members of Africa/Middle East region!
Our region in Vatsim is unique: It is the only region to host so many different countries, cultures and religions.
For years we are setting example in Vatsim and to the world outside in general, of how we can all live and act together in friendship and kindness to each other. If we were the world, it would have been a better place!
I am proud of you all for your kindness, professionalism and devotion, and it is my honor to lead you with my team for the last few years.
It is my pleasure to wish our Islamic friends Eid Moubarak for the upcoming Eid Al Fitr and the end of the Holy Ramadan. May you and your family will be showered with Allah's blessings, InshAllah!
o all my friends of the Jewish community in Vatsim, for Rosh Hashana (New year's day), I wish you Shana Tova, and may god make all your dreams come true in this new year! I'll take this opportunity to also wish you Ktivah V'Chatima Tova for Yom Kippur.
